You can boil chickpeas in a good amount and store in the refrigerator and it can be used for 4-5 days and you need not boil them again and again.

Chickpea in India is eaten in the main course as well as salads as a main course it is prepared with spices and tomato puree/ paste and can be eaten with roti/ rice/naan/kulchas/ and of course bhaturas as cholle bhaturas are extensively liked by Indian people.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR SALAD RECIPES-
- Chickpea/ white channa
- Lettuce (chopped)
- cucumber (finely chopped)
- tomato (finely chopped)
- Onion (Optional)
- Lemon juice
- Salt (according to taste)
- Red chili flakes (Optional)
- 1 tsp Olive Oil (Optional)
- Boil 100 gm chickpea
- Let it cool
- place in a bowl
- cut Cucumbers, tomatoes (finely chopped)

- Put lettuce
- squeeze lemon
