You can boil chickpeas in a good amount and store in the refrigerator and it can be used for 4-5 days and you need not boil them again and again.

This can be an amazing recipe of your day to day breakfast. salad recipes because it is hustle free and you don’t need to think for hours what to eat for breakfast that is super healthy and not heavy.

If you get bored of eating the same recipe of breakfast like me, you can eat it in alternative days and set a recipe notebook in which you can write 3-4 breakfast recipes and enjoy them alternatively.

Chickpea in India is eaten in the main course as well as salads as a main course it is prepared with spices and tomato puree/ paste and can be eaten with roti/ rice/naan/kulchas/ and of course bhaturas as cholle bhaturas are extensively liked by Indian people.


  1. Chickpea/ white channa
  2. Lettuce (chopped)
  3. cucumber (finely chopped)
  4. tomato (finely chopped)
  5. Onion (Optional)
  6. Lemon juice
  7. Salt (according to taste)
  8. Red chili flakes (Optional)
  9. 1 tsp Olive Oil (Optional)


  • Boil 100 gm chickpea
  • Let it cool
  • place in a bowl

  • cut Cucumbers, tomatoes (finely chopped)
